The first entry in Gold Robot's ongoing split series which pairs artists from different geographic regions together. Colossal Yes (Oakland, CA) takes command of the A-side with "Backbiter Blues", a loose jam with various solos and drunken poetics throughout. Imagine a house band playing in an empty dive bar singing of protests from the losing end. Side B features “Be Like Us”, an epic banger by the Arkansas-based band The Good Fear, a soaring and forward marching tale of dusty friends and lost love.

Roman Ruins is Graham Hill's solo project exploring the mystical link between song and architecture. Like a building, the music is an assembly of components. The pieces are built around a rhythmic frame that informs the voices and samples that comprise the flesh. When not crafting songs, Graham plays drums for Beach House and Papercuts.
