From the hills of rural Ohio comes experimental/hip-hop producer Brandon Klaiber, better known as Lazy Knuckles. Lazy has made a name for himself producing tracks for hip-hop artists like Stro (or Astronomical Kid), Dyme-a-Duzin, Aaron Cohen, and even professional athletes/emcees Mas Fresco (C.J. Miles, NBA) and Black Dave (Dave Willis, skateboarder). Blending samples with intertwined synthesizers creating a lo-fi but atmospheric sound, Knuckles attempts to paint a picture of the wilderness he inhabits intertwined with hard-knocking beats.
The Lazy Knuckles project came about from Klaiber's passion for eclectic music. Growing up in the small rural town of Ironton (Ohio) where a "music scene" is obsolete, Brandon began creating music after graduating high school in 2009 and quickly became infatuated with 90's and early 2000's hip-hop (A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, MF Doom). After producing hip-hop music for 4 years, Brandon finally found his home in experimental music and released his debut LP "Bucolic" on Gold Robot Records. Lazy prides himself on making music out of the ordinary, in hopes of reaching those listeners who share the same taste and passion for different sounds as he.
